Itinerary

  • Reach Victoria coach station at the scheduled time in the morning for the start of the tour. On this tour from London, you will be visiting the following attractions:

Windsor Castle: Enjoy a visit to the Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, representing 900 years of British history. With more than 1,000 rooms, 13 acres of land, and more than 45,000 square metres of floor space, Windsor Castle is the official residences of the Queen.

Stroll through the picturesque castle grounds and see The State Apartments, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, The Semi-State Rooms and St George’s Chapel. Explore the magnificent State Apartments, still used for State occasions and Royal receptions. The Royal Collection boasts paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and the famous triple portrait of Charles I by Sir Anthony van Dyck.

Stonehenge: The Stonehenge continues to be a mystery. Explore this prehistoric stone circle on Salisbury Plain, believed to have been built between 3000 and 2000 BC. Walk around the mystifying circular formation of tall, standing stones. Experts still debate whether these were intended as an observatory of the moon, a temple to the sun, or an elaborate cemetery. First erected some 6000 years ago, it has been calculated that it took 3 phases of constructions, thirty million hours of labour and the transportation of masses of colossal rocks across mountains and rivers to complete the Stonehenge.

Oxford Walking Tour: Stroll through one of the most famous university cities in the world, in the company of a professional guide. There’s much to see in this quaint and charming city. Admire the stunning architecture, wander the cobbled alleyways and experience the famous Bridge of Sighs, Trinity College, Ashmolean Museum and The Sheldonian Theatre.

The tour ends at the Victoria train station.
