The climb is steep so pay attention to every detail your guide gives you and watch a short video on health and safety video. After the briefing, you will change into your climb suit and shoes (if necessary) and a safety harness. Then it will be time to make your way to the walkway, the base. After training on how to attach yourself to the safety wire, you will be all set to start the climb.

The walkway at an incline of 28 degrees on the way up and 30 degrees on the way back down has a slight bounce to replicate the surface of the tent. Hold the central handrail at all times as you gradually climb up.

Once you are at the summit, there is an observation platform, take in spectacular 360 degrees views of the city of London and its landmarks. Spot Canary Wharf, The Shard, City Hall, Historic Royal Greenwich and the London 2012 Olympic Park. There are signs at the edge of the platform that will help you to recognize the landmarks and you may also take the help of the guide.

After spending quality time at the observation platform, it will be time make the descent to the base.
