The construction of the Westminster Abbey dates back to 1045 and was built in Romanesque style. But did you know that in 1245, King Henry III ordered the remodeling of the church and the original style was replaced by the Gothic architecture. Stories and anecdotes like these is aplenty at every corner of the Abbey. During the course of the tour, the guide will show you the traditional site for the wreaths and burials of the English monarchs since 1066. You will also visit the part of the abbey that houses the tombs of the members of the royal family, aristocrats and illustrious personalities such as scientists and poets, including the tombs of Charles Dickens, Geoffrey Chaucer and Rudyard Kipling.
