Activity Overview

Set sail for a relaxing day amidst azure seas and pristine beaches with the Low Isles Sailing and Sunset Cruise. Unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility of pure sailing as you travel to Low Isles, a protected coral cay known for its serenity, unspoilt beaches and translucent waters.

Discovered by Captain Cook in 1770, Low Isles is not only home to beautiful coral gardens and spectacular marine life, but a range of migratory birds visit the island.

This cruise allows you to enjoy the beauty of the reef and island during the quiet of the afternoon. Go snorkeling, take a guided snorkel tour, glass bottom boat tour or an island walk.

On your journey back to Port Douglas, enjoy stunning views across the beautiful Coral Sea. See the tropical sun setting over the horizon as the sky turns orange and the mountains of the Daintree Rainforest look magnificent.

Itinerary

Depart from your hotel in a coach to Port Douglas and board a luxury sailing catamaran titled Lagoon 500, which has been sailed from France. Set sail for an afternoon cruise to the Low Isles, a coral cay island.

Spend a relaxing day swimming, snorkeling with a guided snorkel tour, coral viewing and exploring the island.

Your great day at low Isles also includes a cruise in glass bottom boat and discover life underwater. Relax and enjoy being the only visitors on the island at this time of the day.

On your homeward journey, enjoy the sunset as you take in the beautiful view that passes you by. Soak up the peace and serenity of the sea while you see the sun slowly setting over the horizon. The orange twilight sky above the faraway mountains of the Daintree Rainforest adds a different flavour to the scenic beauty of the sea.

While you relax in your luxury catamaran, you will be served a complimentary glass of wine, beer or sparkling wine, with a selection of canapés.

Your cruise returns to Port Douglas at 6:30pm, thus ending your tour.
