  • Overview & Itinerary
Overview Experience the contrast of the regions oldest and most unique picturesque railway and the invisible technology of the worlds most beautiful cableway in one day. The famous Kuranda Rail will take you through 15 hand cut tunnels and past spectacular waterfalls. A ride on the skyrail over the rainforest canopy is an unforgettable experience.

Also included in this tour is Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland.

Your day beings with a luxury coach transfer from your Cairns accommodation to Freshwater Railway Station from where you will ride the famous scenic railway to Kuranda. Enjoy breathtaking views enroute, including the cane fields of Cairns to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda. Upon arrival in Kuranda, there will be free time to explore before Skyrail at 11:00am for the next part of the tour. Relax and enjoy the world's most beautiful rainforest experience, stopping enroute to explore the two stations, including boardwalks & the CSIRO Interpretive Centre.

The Skyrail takes you to Caravonica Lake, from where you will board a coach to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland. Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife, including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries.

See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show and the opportunity to hold a crocodile for a photo (own expense). Discover the world's most venomous snakes at the Snake Show before the return transfer to your accommodation.
