At Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures in Cairns you can see a range of native flora and fauna, including tropical birds, reptiles and insects. Spread over 2100 metres of timber boardwalks and pathways that lead to dense woodlands and rainforests.
With the Hartley’s Crocodile Adventure Half-Day Tour, cruise through the Melaleuca wetlands and see saltwater crocodiles lazing around the banks. Don’t miss the Crocodile Attack Show, where these species come into action and entertain you with their notorious head shake and death roll.
Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife, including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries.
In the park, your time is at leisure but a suggested schedule is as follows:

Australia is known for some of the most dangerous snakes. Experience the beauty, mystery and diversity of these venomous snakes as a guide tells you about how you should behave around them and what should you do if you are bitten
Wetlands Cruise

There are 19 crocodiles ranging in size from 2.5m to 5m, cruising the waters, enjoying afternoon siesta on the banks or building their nests. Observe how they are alert and aware of the surroundings.
: Crocodile Attack Show
See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile and don’t miss the opportunity to hold a crocodile for a photo (own expense).
Cassowary Feeding
See cassowaries in their natural surroundings and take an easy, relaxing walk through the Cassowary Gardens. Also, take pleasure in feeding these giant birds.
Koala Feeding
Before heading back to your hotel, meet the adorable Koala beers and cuddle them while you feed them fresh gum leaves.
