    Overview Lying just under 100km from Brussels is Bruges; undoubtedly one of Europe’s most beautiful and romantic cities.

    On this day trip feel like you have stepped back in time as you explore Bruges’ medieval streets and squares. Your local expert guide will lead you on a walking tour of the city, covering highlights such as the market square and the Church of our Lady.

    Close by is the charming city of Ghent. One of Belgium’s hidden gems this medieval canal city is a photographers’ dream.

    You will be picked up from your centrally located hotel or 82 Rue du Marche aux Herbes, 1000 Bruxelles and taken on a sightseeing tour of Ghent and Bruges in a luxury coach. You will be accompanied by a multilingual guide.

    In Ghent see:

    • St Bavo’s Cathedral, home of the world famous “Mystic Lamb” painting
    • Important buildings from the Middle Ages, such as the Belfry, St Nicholas Church
    • Earl’s Castle

    Through the Flemish countryside, proceed to Bruges.

    In Bruges, see the Lake of Love and the Beguinage.

    Stop for lunch and then walk to see:

    • Our Lady Church with the statue by Michelangelo
    • Market Square with the Belfry
    • Holy Blood Chapel

    You can also enjoy an optional boat tour along the canals.
