Experience Brussels with us

Most famed for beer, waffles and chocolate, a quick stroll down any city street proves there is much more to Brussels than meets the eye … and mouth. Hailed as one of the most international cities in the world, Belgium’s fascinating capital is home to the European Union, more than 90 museums, countless parks and a multitude of chic eateries and bars, all of which put their own cultural stamp on the city. In creative Brussels, architecture is everything. While the magnificence of the Grand Place contrasts with 1960’s concrete developments and the EU’s sleek glass facades, on a smaller scale even the city’s streets sport an opulence and one-of-a-kind feel the city is known for. Multicultural and creative at its core, quirky and quintessential Brussels lured distinguished artists like Magritte, Van Gogh and MC Escher to its region with ease. And if it’s good enough for them, it’s definitely good enough for us.

Our tips for Brussels

  • See the Magic Carpet. Every other year in August, over 100 gardeners assemble a giant floral puzzle spanning the cobbles of the Grand Place. With more than 600,000 flowers in total, this Brussels attraction is a true showstopper.
  • Eat in an atom. CNN dubbed Brussel’s Atomium site as “Europe’s most bizarre building”. Bizarre or not, the building’s top level boasts panoramic views of the city and the great food at Panoramic Restaurant make this a must-do on your Brussels sightseeing list.
  • Have your own Euro-trip. Brussels is the only place you can tour the whole of Europe in just a few hours. Visit Mini Europe, a miniature park where you’ll see all of the continent’s most famous monuments modelled to a scale of 1 to 25. Fun fact– Mini Europe’s Big Ben chimes at 4m high!

Good to know

If you're looking for cheaper flights and hotels, the best time for Brussels tours is during the off-peak seasons of March to May or September to October. For those with more funds, we recommend visiting during the summer months when there’s plenty of things to do in Brussels and the city’s at its most exciting. Every two years in August, the Flower Carpet adorns the Grand Place.
