● Early Bird Special.Yas Waterworld opens at 10:00 a.m.However, the ticket booth opens at 9:45 a.m.So, if you want to enter the park first, you will have to arrive before that, even if you bought your tickets online.

● Salty, much?It might surprise you to find out that Yas Waterworld uses saltwater for all of the rides.So, if you plan on sunbathing, you might want to rinse off with some fresh water because the salt on your skin intensifies the sunlight, making it easier to get a sunburn.

● Hyper Sniper!If you would prefer to avoid the endless lines at the ticket booth, especially the truly heinous ones formed during the summer, just buy your Yas Waterworld ticket online.Simple!

Looking for a night out with the girls?  Plan a Yas Waterworld trip for Thursday evening.  Between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., only women are allowed inside the park.

Best Time To Visit

In terms of climate, the best time to visit Yas Waterworld is between late fall and early spring.  You’ll discover that the sun is a little less intense between these months.  Unfortunate, most foreigners and locals booking a Yas Waterworld tour know this, too.  Therefore, you should anticipate larger crowds.  Winter represents one of the busiest times of the year to book a Yas Waterworld ticket because of all the winter festivals. If you want to get in touch with the local culture, attend one of the cultural activities, music performs, or other fascinating festivities.  Summer truly brings the heat; and, if you visit Abu Dhabi between May and October, you should plan on staying somewhere air-conditioned most of the time.  Most of the foreign leave Abu Dhabi during the summer in search of a cooler climate.  And, so do the locals.  Should you find yourself in Abu Dhabi during the middle of summer, you might find a few good deals on hotels and various Abu Dhabi attractions.  You might save a small amount; but, since Abu Dhabi is one of the most expensive cities in the world, it’s still going to cost you.

Getting Around

The transportation situation in Abu Dhabi is pretty good, overall.  You’ll find clean places to stand or sit and the mass transit is usually on-time.  The cheapest way to reach Yas Waterworld is by bus.  From the Abu Dhabi Al Wadha Bus Terminal, you can hop on the 190 Bus, which will cost you a couple of bucks and take a little over an hour to reach Yas Waterworld.  The fastest way to reach Yas Waterworld is by taxi, which will cost around $25-30 and take only 30 minutes.  Otherwise, you can take advantage of free shuttles from Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, Deira City Center in Dubai or Park Hyatt, Rixos, Rotana, St. Regis, Ferrari World, and Warner Bros. World in Abu Dhabi.  Finally, if you’re driving from Dubai, you’ll need to take Sheikh Zayad Road South and take the Yas Island Exit East to Yas Leisure Drive.  Follow the blue signs for Yas Leisure Drive until you reach the brown signs for Yas Waterworld.  And, if you’re driving from Abu Dhabi, you’ll need to take the E10 or E12 Highway.  Regardless of which highway you use, take the Yas Island Exit and follow the blue Yas Leisure Drive signs until you reach the brown Yas Waterworld signs.
