This tour starts from the Sihlquai bus parking (near Zurich main train station). This bus parking can also be reached by tram / streetcar number 17.

Take a trip to the Aare Gorge formed 10,000 years ago as a result of glaciation. As you walk on its footbridges and tunnels, you will be bordered by sheer cliffs up to 50 meters high on either side. At the bottom of this steep drop, the Rhone River is barely one meter wide. For a brilliant visual treat, head to the Rhone Glacier and walk through the 100-meter long blue ice tunnel to the Ice Room.
After refreshing over a cup of coffee, you will be all set to tackle the Furka Pass. Enjoy the spectacular scenery over the Gotthard massif.
The tour starts from the Sihlquai bus parking near Zurich Main Train Station. You will be picked up in an air-conditioned coach and journey over the Brunig Pass (1008 meters) to the Bernese Oberland. A multilingual guide speaking English and German will accompany you on this tour.
The Bernese Oberland is one of Switzerland’s most spectacularly beautiful regions in the canton of Bern. Visit the impressive 1400-meter-high Aare Gorges and walk on a secure footbridge and tunnels cut through the rocks.
Further on, ascend through the wild landscape of Grimsel Pass at a height of 2165 meters. It is a Swiss high mountain pass between the valley of the Rhone river in the canton of Bern. The Grimsel Pass is located near the Rhone Glacier.
Continue to the Rhone Glacier at a height of 2300 meters, one of the biggest glaciers of the Alps. You can walk to the glacier on a mountain trail and see the Ice Cave, an artificial glacier cave.
After a coffee break (optional), take on the Furka Pass at a height of 2431 meters. Proceed via Realp through the Urseren Valley to Andermatt and through the Schollenen gorges with the legendary Devil’s Bridge at the foot of the St. Gotthard Mountain.
After exploring the famous Swiss mountain passes, return by coach to Zurich. The tour ends at Sihlquai bus parking (which is near Zurich main train station).

Only sad point was to see how far the Rhone glacier had reseeded from must last visit some 45 years ago :( rest was brilliant....
