Overview
Enjoy some time off in typically Swiss alpine surroundings spend a night underneath the impressive Mt. Titlis summit! Use your two days to visit Mt. Titlis on 3020 metres above sea level, where a wonderland of ice and snow awaits you or take the opportunity to go on a leisurely walk around the picturesque Trübsee lake.
Day 1
Depart from Zürich and enjoy a scenic coach journey through beautiful country-side to the charming town of Lucerne. Enjoy some photo stops along the way before arriving at the the charming Old Town. Continue onward around noon to Engelberg, a typical Swiss alpine village in the base of Mt. Titlis and hop of a cable car! Spend the night at one of the middle stations called Trübsee and once you check in, head out again to reach the famous Mt. Titlis at 3020 metres above sea level and enjoy spectacular sights of the surrounding snow-capped mountain peaks and glacier crevasses! Take full advantage of this opportunity to visit the icy Glacier Cave, take a ride with the Ice Flyer chairlift or walk across Europe‘s highest suspension bridge ‘Cliff Walk’. Finally wrap up the day in a tasty 4-course dinner.
Day 2
Kickstart the day with a delicious breakfast from the hotel‘s buffet and treat all your senses to the alpine surroundings at Trübsee. Little ones can relax at the ‘Schmuggli‘s’ adventure playground around the lake or enjoy a boar ride. For the adrenaline-seekers, perhaps dare a jump on the jumping pillow or practice your balance on the slackline! By late afternoon, you will have to start your descent to Engelberg. At the valley station, you will meet up with one of your professional guides, before the journey leads back to Zürich.
