  • Overview & Itinerary
Overview Take the family and enjoy a thrilling adventure in an amazing “boat with wheels”, affectionately known as a “DUCK”.

Using revamped WW2 amphibious vehicles, the DC DUCK tour provides one of the most entertaining ways to sightsee in the US capital. You’ll enjoy a journey through the city to view various malls, monuments and museums before heading to the Potomac for a leisurely river cruise. Along the way, expert “Conducktors” amuse and enlighten with intriguing facts, historical accounts and tales about Washington DC.

And the best part, it all takes place in one vehicle, without you ever having to leave your seat! Once in the river, the DC Duck Tour will sail past various spots of interest, including Gravelly Point, where you may just glimpse an airplane overhead as it soars in for a landing at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

The Washington DC DUCK Tour is an experience you will never forget. To board your historic vehicle make your way to Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Ave. and hand your isango booking voucher to the friendly “Conducktor”!

On DC DUCK Tour, you’ll enjoy the area’s most extraordinary sightseeing excursion while riding in an authentic, fully restored DC DUCK vehicle. The DUCK were created in 1942 following the attack on Pearl Harbor and became a vital means of transporting supplies from ships to areas that did not have port facilities. The vehicles were built by encasing 2½ ton GM trucks in a watertight shell.

Experience a feeling of patriotism as you view some of the most stunning monuments in the United States on a boat with wheels. See the famous Smithsonian Museums and many other magnificent Washington DC points of interest…then hold onto your seat as you head straight for the Potomac River, and take the big splash!

Your DUCK tour ends at the starting point.
