Then, spend the next day at Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery, and Old Town Alexandria. Step off the bus at Mount Vernon and walk right past the ticket line. Once inside, explore the inside of George Washington’s home. Next, walk around the plantation grounds and enjoy the gardens, tombs, pioneer farms, distillery and gristmill, onsite museum, and other fascinating features!
Finally, discover Old Town Alexandria, chock-full of restaurants, boutique store, and antique shops, before arriving at the final Washington D.C. sightseeing attraction: Arlington National Cemetery. Once the tour departs, you cannot join along the route.
You will be riding in an open-top, double-decker bus unless there is inclement weather, in which case we will try to switch up and provide a closed-top motor coach.
