Meet up at Union Station’s Bus Terminal Level and climb aboard our spacious, open-air, double-decker busses.  The vantage point from above delivers unobstructed, 360° views of your surroundings; so, you’re sure to capture quality photos that you’ll cherish for years.  Hear interesting commentary during pit stops at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Korean War Memorial, Smithsonian, and other popular destinations! 

Then, spend the next day at Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery, and Old Town Alexandria.  Step off the bus at Mount Vernon and walk right past the ticket line.  Once inside, explore the inside of George Washington’s home.  Next, walk around the plantation grounds and enjoy the gardens, tombs, pioneer farms, distillery and gristmill, onsite museum, and other fascinating features!

Finally, discover Old Town Alexandria, chock-full of restaurants, boutique store, and antique shops, before arriving at the final Washington D.C. sightseeing attraction:  Arlington National Cemetery.  Make use your the tram tickets included in the package to shuttle between the cemetery’s most important features.  Pay homage at John F. Kennedy’s grave, check out the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and pay your respects to fallen U.S. soldiers.   Along the way, you’ll also enjoy stops at Christ Church and the Iwo Jima Memorial, which is why this tour is one of the best things to do in Washington D.C.

So there’s no last-minute rush, please arrive at the start point 30 minutes before the tour starts to guarantee ridership.

Once the tour departs, you cannot join along the route.


You will be riding in an open-top, double-decker bus unless there is inclement weather, in which case we will try to switch up and provide a closed-top motor coach.
