In Japan, nature’s beauty takes many forms and Mount Fuji and Hakone are places that offer exceptional picturesque views of the landscape.
Meet your English speaking guide in Shinjuku and depart from Tokyo in a bus to Michinoeki Subashiri, the base from where the Mt. Fuji climb begins. Breathe in the fresh air as you gaze at Japan’s most recognizable symbol, Mount Fuji standing tall at a height of 3776 meters. Spend some time here and then move up to the 5th Station, situated at 2000 meters above sea level, and offers the closest views of Mt Fuji floating over the clouds.
If the hunger pangs kick in, upgrade and add a buffet lunch to the tour and enjoy a sumptuous lunch.
Continue your tour to Hakone, where you see Mount Fuji from a different perspective. With the scenic Lake Ashi flowing with Mount Fuji as a backdrop, the sight gets better and better. Enjoy a boat ride to be a part of this mesmerizing view and take in the surroundings. It is an absolute moment to capture in your camera.
That won’t be all. More views will follow when you take a cable car ride to Owakudani Valley, an active volcanic zone full of hot springs and hot riving. As you ascend, see the landscape spread like a map under your feet. You will spend some time and then make the descent for the return journey by a bullet train.
