Our tips for Tokyo Disneyland

  • Give a bit, and you'll get more back: Tokyo Disneyland is often classed as one of the best theme parks in the world. And the service you'll receive is every bit as good as you'd expect. So, smile and enjoy, and you'll get more the same and above in return.
  • Book ahead: With any Disney resort, it's best to book early. That way, you will ensure you get to spend time at the magical resort as it can get jam-packed at peak periods.

Best time to visit

There are several times when the Tokyo Disneyland magic really shines. Easter and Christmas are special but get very busy. Golden Week, a Japanese holiday in mid-May, is very busy, so tickets may be hard to get. Winter often has lovely, clear days, which makes it an appealing time to go. Mid-Summer, however, gets very, very hot, so best avoided.

Getting there

Your best way on getting to Tokyo Disneyland is by train. The theme park is located 5 minutes from Maihama station on the JR Keiyo line. So you're best making your way to Tokyo station and then catching the train from there.
