Whether you’re a morning person or not, this early morning tour is surely worth your time with an exhilarating experience of the larger-than-life Sydney Opera House from its backstage.
Here is the plan...
A departure in the early hours confirms an uninterrupted and peaceful touring experience. An expert guide takes you through this UNESCO World Heritage-listed building that hosts over 1500 performances annually at its multiple performing arts venues.
Explore the nooks and corners of this world-famous and iconic performance venue. Enjoy undisturbed access to the inner sanctum areas that are otherwise buzzing with performers and technical crews later in the day. Walk through the hallowed theatres, as you’re taken behind the curtains and subsequently on stage. Learn about what goes on backstage, hear a few interesting secrets and insider’s stories and get a perspective on the dramatic and passionate lives of the performers.
Enjoy plenty of photo opportunities during this tour and let your guide inform you about any photography restricted areas. Conclude this experience with a grand hot breakfast in the Green Room, a place that serves as a private area for the crew and some of the world’s most well-respected artists. If you choose to go on this trip on a Sunday, the breakfast will be arranged at the Opera Kitchen instead.
Voucher information: You can show your voucher on your smartphone (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)
Wheelchair Accessibility: No
Age Restriction: Those below the age of 10 have to sit this one out. Children ages 10-15 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times
Always keep a photo ID handy for security checks.
On Sunday, breakfast will be served in the Opera Kitchen as the Green Room is not open.
All items are cloaked on arrival. Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside the venue for security reasons.
Videography is prohibited during performances to respect the artists. There may be restrictions on photography in certain areas. To avoid disruptions, it is recommended to switch off your mobile phone during the duration of the tour.
