The South Coast tour is the only one of its kind that includes the coastline, dairy countryside and remote beach and bush trails. A truly Aussie day out with a gourmet BBQ lunch and discover aboriginal engravings. Walk across remote beaches, spot wildlife, hear the roar of the ocean at Kiama Blowhole.
Getting out of Sydney and into the great Aussie outdoors, our journey starts with us heading along the scenic Grand Pacific Drive - part of the 140-kilometre award-winning South Coast roadway. Enjoy a scenic drive through the hinterland of lush fertile valleys and farmland foothills of Jamberoo and Saddleback Mountain.
A sumptuous barbecue lunch later, we will begin our trail back to Sydney through the dairy countryside with a stop at the spectacular Kiama Blowhole. The Blowhole vantage point allows for great ocean viewing and the opportunity to spot whales during their migration season (May - November). Continuing past some of the best local beaches in the Illawarra and South Coast region, we will arrive for a thrilling walk across the Sea Cliff Bridge as you hear the waves crashing beneath. You’ll get to relish as well as capture some beautiful scenes across the oceanfront as well as of the gliders flying around Bald Hill before finally entering the Royal National Park. Wattamolla Falls is lined up next, waiting for us with some marvellous walking trails opening up to remote lagoons and gorgeous waterfalls and a chance to come across deer or rock wallabies.
Our final activity involves a dose of anthropological history as well, as we stroll across a remote beach in Bundeena to view five ancient Aboriginal paintings - giving you a glimpse into the cultural heritage and indigenous origins of Australia. The walk across the beach is also a great opportunity to catch sight of some adorable dolphins at play. History, photography, wildlife, stunning views - this tour has it all covered and trust us when we say that you will enjoy one of your most enjoyable days in Australia!
