Overview

A must for wine aficionados, the Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Tour takes you to boutique wineries in the Hunter Valley where you not only sip a wide range of wines but also learn about the wine-making process. It is the most comprehensive wine tour, offered at a great price.

The Hunter Valley is just 2 hours drive North of Sydney but a million miles away from the stress of urban cities. The Hunter Valley is renowned for its full-bodied white wines, 'medium-weight reds' and some excellent ports. Upon reaching Hunter Valley, you will cross the Hawkesbury River and enjoy magnificent views of the picturesque waterway. 

Your first stop will be Ernest Hill Winery, known for its award-winning, limited edition wines. You will enjoy private wine tastings while the vignerons share their history.

Next, you will head to Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Kitchen, which boasts about an ambience like that of Tuscany or Provence. You will enjoy 2-course lunch including structured cheese and wine tasting. Here you will have a further wine-tasting session. 

You can also visit Butterfly Gallery for some cheese and oils before heading to McGuigans winery, which has been awarded the world’s best winemaker three times in a row.
