About the Supplier
Sydney Harbour Tall Ships is a family-owned business that shares the love for 1850s style tall ships to locals and tourist.
Here is the plan...
Aboard this magnificent tall ship you will spend a morning discovering the sights, sounds and history of Sydney. Sail past the Opera house, Fort Denison, under the harbour bridge and enjoy a real sailing experience on an 1850s style tall ship.
Set sail towards Goat Island where you will disembark to walk in the footsteps of Australia's early convicts. Enjoy a guided tour of the island that contains some of Australia's most important and intact convict-built buildings. Your guide will engage you with tales of punishment, deaths and escape whilst you visit sites such as the amazing early 1800s military gun powder magazine, the soldiers’ barracks complex and Sydney’s oldest Water Police Station. This is an easy 1.5km walk.
You will also cruise past some of the wealthiest and most prestigious suburbs in Australia and take in the harbourside castles. You will see the most expensive property in the country and also learn about the history of the beautiful Kirribilli House and Admiralty House.
This incredible-value cruise includes an onboard buffet lunch for the duration of the cruise.
