Spend an action-packed day at the spectacular Blue Mountains World Heritage Region, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Delve into the heart of the unique Blue Mountains World Heritage Region to visit remote lookout locations, and learn about the history, flora and fauna of the region. Visit Calmsley hill and witness largest members of the Kingfisher family, these birds prey on snakes, lizards and small birds and mammals. They are brazen, bold and loud birds and soak in spectacular views, know about Australian forests and admire your pristine surroundings from popular lookouts.
An adventurous hike, a stop at the beautiful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens with a sip of sparkling wine - makes for an unforgettable Blue Mountains Hiking Experience!
You will be picked up from your hotel at the scheduled time in an air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop this morning is at Calmsley Hill, a working farm involved in animal rehabilitation offering fabulous bush surrounds located near the heart of Sydney. You will arrive early to get up close to a range of native and farmyard animals including Kangaroos and Koalas while enjoying a light morning tea.
Visit, enjoy a scenic drive to the iconic Blue Mountains, a UNESCO-listed site. En route, see quaint villages, panoramic views and beautiful waterfalls. Learn more about the Australian forests and bushland, enjoy short walks and take in sweeping views from the lookout points.
At the Evans lookout, you will be provided with a lunch pack, map and instructions for the hike. Hike from Evans Lookout to Govett’s Leap and take in jaw-dropping views of the waterfalls and the majestic cliffs of Grose Valley.
The last stop of the tour is the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views as you sip on a glass of sparkling wine with orange juice. After the tour, you will be driven back to Sydney and dropped off to your hotel.
