You will be taken on a guided bus tour of the Geysir geothermal field in Reykjavik.
The tour will visit the following places:
• Geysir geothermal field: See the world-famous Geysir geothermal field where spouting springs of various formations and appearances are seen. In addition to the Great Geyser, the Strokkur, another famous geyser is located nearby. It gives an enthralling performance every few minutes, shooting a tower of water and steam 30 meters into the air. There are other equally fascinating attractions apart from the magnificent geysers. There is Blesi, a hot spring with turquoise-coloured water.
• Gullfoss: This is the queen of Icelandic waterfalls, and you can enjoy the opportunity to stand next to it, watching as enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge.
• The Geysir Museum: The visit to this museum is included as a main feature of this tour. The museum houses an informative multimedia exhibition that vividly shows how the forces of nature shaped the country and the people.
The tour returns to the starting point after approximately 6 hours.
Voucher Information: No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other devices. (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!). Pick-up from hotels and guesthouses is 30 minutes before start time.
Drop off after day tours may sometimes not be right in front of your hotel/guesthouse due to narrow streets and coach size used during the tour. Bus stop 6 is temporarily closed effective since 15 June. We advise you to use either bus stop 3 or 14 instead.
