Only about seven minutes away from the Geysir, this iconic waterfall is located on the glacial river of Hvítá meaning ‘white’ . It is a stunning sight with a fall of 32 meters into the deep canyon. See the Kerið Volcanic Crater, formed during an eruption around 3000 years ago. The crater bottom is now covered by a picturesque lake and booasts a stunning display of contrasting hues. There is a walking path around the top of the crater from where you can descend down to the water´s edge.
