Overview

Explore the treasures of Arashiyama and Nara Park as you head out of Osaka for a day onboard a comfortable bus. Take in the cherry blossom landscape of Arashiyama.

Arashiyama
Filled with shrines and temples, Arashiyama is one of the mosst popular tourist districts in Kyoto. Visit the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and walk amid the soaring stalks of bamboo. Take pictures with the towering canes as your backdrop.  

From Arashiyama, you will take the Randen tram ride to Shijo Omiya. The Randen tram is the last of the network of tramlines that once operated in Kyoto. Running for over 100 years, the tram route covers some of Japan’s most popular heritage sites.    

Nara Park
Once you reach at Shijo Omiya, you will be transported to Nara Park, famous for wild deers.

At the end of the trip, you will return to OCAT Namba.

You can upgrade your tour to include a sumptuous buffet lunch or a Beef Shabu Shabu set lunch.

Voucher information: No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other devices. (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.

So there’s no last-minute rush please arrive at the start point 10 minutes early.

With the bus only option, you will have ample time to visit Nara Park, for which you have to pay directly at the site.

Admission Fee of Nara Park: Adult 500yen; Child 300yen

You may request your food preference (in case of buffet) - vegetarian or Halal at the time of booking and our local partners will arrange the same.

There will be no separate seats for children travelling for free.

Our local partners can arrange departures from the Kansai International Airport for an additional charge of 1000yen per guest. Your pick up will be from Terminal 1 at 7:30am.

Take pictures wearing the traditional Kawaii Kimono in Arashiyama available at a special rental offer of 3,980yen/person.

For customers who wish to go back to Kyoto, tour will ends in Nara Park. (guide will hand them train ticket to go to JR Kyoto Station by themselves).
