Embark on a thrilling bar hopping adventure as you relive the furtive days of the prohibition in New York! Trace the footsteps of the audacious drinkers and visit 4 prohibition-defying bars in the East Village.
In the 1920s, when alcohol prohibition was in full-swing, some secret bars were still operational and visited by drinkers willing to undertake such a grave risk. Visit some of these bars with vintage décor, enjoy three complimentary drinks and get a feel of the forbidden times!
Meet your guide in front of McSorley's Old Ale House at the scheduled time. On this evening tour, you will be visiting four such well-preserved bars which weathered the famous alcohol Prohibition during the 1920s.
You will experience the seamy underbelly of New York on this tour and enjoy a thrilling bar hopping experience as your guide takes you from one such bar to another. Admire the vintage décor of the bars, enjoy three complimentary drinks and snacks and recreate the clandestine and thrilling mood of the Prohibition Era.
After the tour, make your own way back to the hotel.
