Overview

Experience the power and wonder of Niagara and still have time for some shopping on a two-day trip from the US to Canada and back.

Take a scenic route out through the mountains and forests. Stop on the way to look at the pretty waterfalls of Watkins Glen.

If Watkins is the warm up, Niagara's the main act. Before you see the Falls you will surely hear their roaring sound. Stand spellbound as you watch up to 600,000 gallons of water per second plunge over the great escarpment in clouds of mist and plumes of spray.

View Niagara by day and then again after dark, when intense spotlights bathe the Falls with different shades of color. It's an unforgettable sight.

Next day, board the 'Maid in the Mist' passenger boat to get a closer look at the great curtain of water. Or in April go by the Scenic Tunnels to view the Falls from behind.

Having enjoyed the fresh air and seen one of the world's greatest water features, treat yourself to some shopping at one of the wonderful outlet malls on the way back to New York.
