Overview

A bike tour of Central Park that gives you a 360-degree view of the city and some of its most famous attractions. During the tour, your tour guide will share interesting facts about the history and design of the famous park and reveal little known information about historical attractions, celebrity homes, movie scene locations and more.

You’ll see Strawberry Fields and the Imagine Mosaic, those marvelous tributes to the memory of John Lennon, and Jacqueline Kennedy's Onassis Reservoir, with its cherry trees and rhododendrons, as well as several species of birds. Gaze upon the Bethesda Terrace, the heart of Central Park with its iconic Angel of the Waters Fountain.

Ride past Belvedere Castle, an architectural hybrid of Gothic and Romanesque styles is built on the second-highest natural elevation point in Central Park that affords you sweeping views of the Park. You’ll be able to smell the flowers in the Shakespeare Garden, with its 4 acres of plants that change according to season. Another literary connection is the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ statue, 11 feet tall in bronze.

Indulge in a little souvenir shopping at the Tavern on the Green, a much-loved restaurant until 2009 and now a public visitor’s center and gift shop. It serves as the finish line for the New York City Marathon and has featured in several movies, including ‘Edward Scissorhands’ and ‘Wall Street’.
