Overview

Discover the stunning beauty of the Swiss Alps on a journey on the Green Train from Milan. Enjoy a cruise on the lake of Thun en route to the beautiful Swiss town of Interlaken.

Take a high-speed train from Milan to the town of Domodossola, the last Italian frontier before the Swiss border. The train journey takes you to the Simplon pass which is one of the most beautiful crossings in Switzerland. Your guide will Introduce you to all the secrets of the mountains and valleys that you pass through.

Stop for a spot of lunch at Spiez (lunch not included in the package) before taking a steamboat cruise to Interlaken. Once there, explore on your own, take a stroll, admire the architecture and the hang gliders peacefully soaring over the snow-capped Alps in the distance.

On the cruise, don’t miss out on snapping some photos of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains that reflect off the blue waters of the lake. Along with the beautiful views, do try the world’s finest Swiss chocolate at the one of the many local specialty chocolatiers in the town. In the late afternoon, we take the train back to Domodossola, before returning to Milan on an air-conditioned coach. A current valid passport is required on the day of travel.
