Overview
Jungle Island was established in 1936 with the objective of creating a natural environment where birds can fly freely. This tradition is maintained even today with beautiful, colourful birds spreading their wings in the tropical blue Miami sky. The park has more than 300 birds.
Engage in animal shows and exhibits while walking through streams and waterfalls under a lush canopy of tropical trees. One of the major highlights of the park is the feathered cabaret show, Winged Wonders in which birds like Andean condor and macaws, will sing and dance.
Take a trip through the animal kingdom during Dr Wasabi’s Wild Adventures as he will introduce you to exotic animals like the alligator snapping turtle to baby Hamadryas baboons. See the big cats perform in front of you in the Wild Adventure show.
Watch interesting exhibits and see colourful birds in Miami’s only private beach at Parrot Cove, watch squirrel monkeys and macaws in the clay cliff of Peru’s Manu at Manu Encounter, witness the tremendous intelligence of orangutans in Orangutan School, and see South African penguins waddle around the pool at the Penguin Exhibit.
