Directions:
From the North: Take I-95 South or the Turnpike South to 595 West. On 595 take I-75 North towards Naples. Stay on I-75 North until you come to Exit 23 North (U.S. Highway 27) towards South Bay. Sawgrass Recreation Park is just 2 miles to the North on the right hand side of the road. Turn right and cross over the bridge, make another immediate right down into the parking lot.

Please report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.

Feel the wind in your hair as you whizz through the waterways in an airboat at 50 mph. Catch a glimpse of the alligators, crocs and turtles that thrive in the mysterious overgrown swamps.
Get up close and personal with all sorts of wild and wonderful critters, including Cannibal, the 1000 pound gator.
You will find herons, egrets, birds of prey, turtles, iguanas and much more at this fantastic park.
The Everglades is a wetland wilderness based on a slow-moving system of rivers. Once the home of the Seminole Native Americans, it is a beautiful and fragile habitat made up of 1.2 million acres of grasslands and hardwood hammocks (tree islands). Alligators, American crocodiles, turtles, fish, snakes and exotic wading birds thrive in this subtropical environment.
Enjoy a 40-minute airboat ride through the untamed wilderness. You will glide across miles of river at speeds up to 50 mph, guided by an experienced captain. During the trip, you'll discover the secrets of the swamps and hear tales of how the Seminole and the Florida panther once coexisted in this lush wilderness. Look out for the native wildlife as you skim across the glassy water.
The reptile exhibit features dozens of species both native and exotic to Florida. Along with the friendly turtles and iguanas, you will meet and learn about Cannibal, the 1000 pound alligator. Be sure to bring your camera, so one of your friends or family can capture you cradling a baby alligator.
Valid Photo ID is required to confirm ownership of voucher, store clerk will exchange valid voucher for entrance bracelet for next available airboat ride and exhibit entrances.
Please call the activity operator before arrival to ensure tours are running that day.
On arrival at the Park, please present your confirmation voucher at any one of the registers located in the main building on the property. You will then be signed up for the next available airboat ride.
