  • Overview & Itinerary

Enclosed by a large fortification by the Knights of Saint John in the 16th Century, the “Three Cities” of Malta offer a significant historical experience as well as breathtaking views. Glimpse at the source of Malta’s ancient wealth as you tour Cospicua, Vittoriosa and Senglea and understand why these cities were the sources for both conflict and glory for over a millennium.

See the famous churches, castles and bastions that dot the scenic harbor. Wander through the narrow alleys of Vittoriosa and view the beautiful “vedette” in Senglea. Take the opportunity to sail by traditional Maltese fishing boat.

The tour begins with you being picked up at your hotel by air-conditioned luxury coach. You will be accompanied with a multi-lingual guide (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Scandinavian). Please see the please note section for information about joining the tour from Gozo.

The coach will take just 15 minutes to drive through the double fortified city of Cospicua and stop in Vittoriosa for an hour.

Then take a half an hour walk through the narrow streets of Vittoriosa. See many historic buildings and churches that have preserved their 16th century charm.

From Vittoriosa’s harbor board a traditional “fregatina” or fishing boat and tour the famous creeks for the next 30 minutes.

Disembark at Senglea for around 40 minutes where you will view the majestic “vedette,” or sentry outpost at the center of the Grand Harbor.

The tour will conclude with you being dropped off at your Malta hotel or at Malta's port (tours departing from Gozo) for your ferry back to Gozo, at the other end you will be met by either a taxi/ minibus to be dropped back at your Gozo accommodation.

  • Please note & Additional info

    Please note

Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour for reconfirming departure details

Hotel pick up is available from most Malta hotels, however some Malta hotels have very narrow access streets, if you are staying in one such hotel and it is not possible for a coach to drive to your hotel you will be advised on a pick up point. Pick up point would only be a few minutes away on foot, usually around 200 meters away

The ferry company does not allow us to pre pay ferry tickets for children so the guests would have to buy the ferry tickets for the children themselves

    Additional info

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have
