Malta: 0800h (08:00am)
Duration: 9 hours
Your Malta/ Gozo accommodation.
The tour begins with you being picked up at your hotel by an air-conditioned luxury coach. A multi-lingual guide with knowledge of English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian and Scandinavian will accompany you.
After a twenty-minute ride you will arrive at Gozo. There, you will eat a traditional lunch in a Gozitan village comprising of either a salad, pasta or soup for a starter, chicken or fish in main course, fruit or ice cream for desert and a glass of wine.
In Gozo you also get to see a multi-vision show depicting the local culture. From the banks of Gozo, we will drive to the Temples of Ggantija by air-conditioned luxury coach. These temples are renowned for being the world’s oldest free-standing structures.
Then we will travel to the sprawling Citadel of Victoria. Its austere stone architecture and canon laced interior will certainly provide an inspiring contrast to Gozo’s greenery.
Then travel to the landlocked Bay of Xlendi which has historically served as a small fishing port.
Also view the Azur Window at Dwerja. This rock and ocean structure provides a magnificent view.
Finally take some time for shopping in area markets. Don’t forget to look for the woolen goods and handmade lace for which Gozo is known.
The tour will conclude with you being dropped off at your hotel in Malta by air-conditioned luxury coach.
Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour for reconfirming departure details
Hotel pick up is available from most Malta hotels, however some Malta hotels have very narrow access streets, if you are staying in one such hotel and it is not possible for a coach to drive to your hotel you will be advised on a pick up point. Pick up point would only be a few minutes away on foot, usually around 200 meters away
