Overview
Embark on an unforgettable tour of the world-famous Kia Oval ground, home to the Surrey County Cricket Club, that has many iconic sporting triumphs over the last two centuries to its name. This tour follows an action-packed schedule in the course of 90 minutes, led by an expert guide who provides entertaining commentary on the thrilling and rich history of this place.
Enjoy access to the commentary boxes and walk on the hallowed turf of the ground where many celebrated sportsmen have played. Feel awed by the magnificent views of the pitch and the famed Victorian Gasholder from the Peter May stand. Get access to the Club Museum and check out the well preserved sport memorabilia from over the years.

Meet your guide at the John Edrich Gate (Oval underground end) for an exciting 90-minute tour of the legendary Kia Oval, home to Surrey County Cricket Club and the location of the first ever test match between England and Australia. Check out all the behind-the-scene magic, like you never could from your television screen, while your expert guide talks about the rich history of the Oval and its huge impact on British sports history.
Experience the thrill of a live match from the commentator’s perspective at the press and commentary box. Feel the texture of the grass as you walk on the hallowed territory of the ground. Learn about the many path-breaking accomplishments of this world-famous ground which includes it being one of only 5 venues worldwide to have hosted 100 tests. Also, having hosted the first England International cricket match in 1990 and 1993, England’s first rugby match in 1876 and even the first ever FA cup final in 1872, the very air of Oval smells of accomplishment!
