The perfect tour for anyone obsessed with royalty and mystery! You’ll tour Buckingham Palace, home to Britain’s monarchs for nearly 200 years, and visit the remarkable Stonehenge monument.

Buckingham Palace is only open for 8 weeks a year, so this is an opportunity not to be missed! You can also catch the special exhibition for The Queen’s 1953 Coronation. Marvel at the splendour of the rooms, used on official occasions by the Queen to entertain guests. Be dazzled by the beautiful ballroom and throne room, and complete your royal tour with a walk through the stunning south garden.

At awe-inspiring Stonehenge, you’ll see a masterpiece of megalithic construction. The real significance of this prehistoric creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a Bronze Age burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did the builders manage to carry the vast stones from so far away and then, using only the most basic tools, build this extraordinary structure? Shrouded in questions, Stonehenge never fails to impress.

The Buckingham Palace and Stonehenge Tour takes you to one of the Queen’s most famous properties and then to one of the world’s most mysterious prehistoric monuments.

The adventure begins when you meet the local tour operator’s representative at Victoria.

Our special timed entry ensures a breath-taking visit to the official residence of Britain’s sovereigns since 1837. You will arrive at the Visitor Entrance at Buckingham Palace Road, where you will be welcomed by members of the Warden team, deposit your bags and collect a complimentary audio tour.

After visiting the 19 State Rooms and the Special Exhibition for the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, you will walk out into the Palace garden. Before leaving, you can enjoy a walk along the south side of the Palace garden, past the famous lake.

Your driver will take you straight to Stonehenge for an extended visit. Upon arrival, you will receive a multi-lingual audio guide. Wander around the world heritage site and be captivated by this extraordinary monument on Salisbury Plain.

An abundance of theories surround Stonehenge; from the beliefs that it was a religious temple, an astronomical clock and even a Bronze Age burial ground! Decide for yourself while you discover the known facts about the mysterious megaliths.
