Overview & Itinerary
Overview Travel to Florence, a shimmering cradle of Italian history and culture.
Enjoy a beautiful drive through the lush Padana Plain and arrive in Florence, where the wisdom of the ancients seems to rise from the streets and radiate from the buildings.
Be humbled by the cloud-piercing bell tower of Giotto and walk in awe around the mystical Bapistry.
The L-shaped Piazza della Signoria embraces an ancient square filled with some of Italy’s most stunning sculptural masterpieces.
Spend free time looking for keepsakes along the arched bridge of Ponte Vecchio, where merchants sell their wares overlooking the Arno River.

Itinerary
You will be picked up by coach from the starting point of the tour (depending on your location) and whisked across the fertile Padana Plain to kick off this Florence sightseeing tour. A bilingual guide (English and German-speaking) will accompany you on this tour.
The drive to Florence is almost as memorable as the city itself, with breathtaking views of the Apennines Mountains, which enclose the silver rivers and lush wetlands of the Padana Plain.
Arrive in Florence and embark on a two-hour sightseeing tour with a local guide who knows the city inside out.
Visit the Church of Santa Maria del Fiore, a 13th century marvel whose marble exterior gives off hues of pink and green.
Gaze up at Giotto’s Bell Tower, a showpiece of the Florentine Gothic style that stands pre-eminent above the modest red roofs of the cityscape.
Behold the Florence Baptistery, believed to be the oldest building in the city. The Bapistery is distinguished by its octagonal shape and three magnificent brass doors that seem like gates to another world.
The resplendent air and statue-filled square of the Piazza della Signoria evokes the artistic and political greatness of the Florentine Republic.
Enjoy free time for shopping in the Ponte Vecchio, where jewelers, art dealers, and souvenir sellers display their wares along an ancient arched bridge.
Your tour will conclude where it began.
