With your Florence in a Day: The V.I.P. Tour tickets, you can waltz right up to the doors of the esteemed Accademia Gallery and shave hours off of your Florence trip! Skip the notorious lines, which are known to wrap all the way around the building, to see Michelangelo’s sculptural masterpiece: David! Stand at the feet of one of the most well-known pieces of fine art as David towers over you. The sheer size of this statue is enough to take your breath away. And, its beauty is generally considered to be unparalleled. Before leaving, make sure you spend some time to check out Michelangelo’s unfinished Slaves, as well as the beautiful Renaissance paintings that you’ll find here.

Then, stand in the shadow of an architectural wonder: The Duomo! When constructed, the Duomo represented the largest dome in the known world. Listen as your friendly, local guide recalls its storied past and cultural significance. You’ll also get a look at the Baptistry and its famous bronze doors, which are so beautiful that Michelangelo once dubbed them “The Gates of Paradise”!

Then, save an untold amount of time by skipping the line at the immensely popular Uffizi Gallery. This treasure trove of Medieval, Renaissance, and modern art plays host to a vast collection of masterpieces created by the world’s most famous artists in history. Check out Michelangelo’s The Holy Family, Leonardo da Vinci’s The Annunciation and Adoration of the Magi, Raphael’s Madonna of the Goldfinch, Rembrandt’s Self-portrait as a Young Man, and many others! But, perhaps the most famous painting in this world-famous gallery is Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus. This painting represents one of the crowning achievements of the Renaissance Period and is widely considered a must-see by all visitors in Florence.

Finally, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the city with your trusty tour guide as you stop at important landmarks, such as Ponte Vecchio, the Vasari Corridor, the Medici’s family palace, and the outdoor sculpture gallery known as Piazza della Signoria!
