Cruise through a majestic fjord, surrounded by enchanting carved limestone mountains and serene remote white sand beaches. At the entrance of the fjord you can enjoy dolphin watching.
Discover the unexploited waters of the Strait of Hormuz situated between the Musandam Peninsula and Iran, dividing the Arabian Sea from the Gulf Waters.
Visit Khasab, Musandam’s main coastal town with its picturesque view of traditional architecture and its astonishing fort dating back to the 16th century, as you embark on this Khasab day trip.
The Dhow will anchor at Telegraph Island and Seebi Island during the cruise for swimming and snorkeling in pristine waters teeming with friendly colorful fish.
The Musandam Dhow Cruise tickets cover all of this and include soft drinks, fresh fruits, coffee/tea and lunch. Snorkeling equipment and hotel pick-up and drop-off are also included.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Dubai City centre and proceed to the UAE-Oman border.
After the immigration formalities, the tour continues to Khasab and boards the Dhow boat for a spectacular cruise of the Musandam Peninsula.
Directly at the tip of Arabia, in an Omani exclave, you can see the enchanting Carved Limestone Mountains with their naturally rugged peaks, bordered by low foothills, surrounded by wadis. The charming inlets and bays at the coastline are an exceptional sight. The rural villages and towns at the seashore depend on these wadis for agriculture.
You will also discover the unexploited waters of the Strait of Hormuz, which is situated between the Musandam Peninsula and Iran, dividing the Arabian Sea from the Gulf Waters. For a memorable experience, you may travel by boat to the best swimming and snorkeling spots, where you will watch in wonder as dolphins swim in clear waters and perform stunts as an expression of joy in their own habitat.
Another interesting place visited is Khasab, Musandam’s main coastal town with its picturesque view of traditional architecture and its astonishing fort dating back to the 16th century. Quite close you can find two villages, called Bukha and Tawiwellknown, that feature a number of historical remains and pre-historic rock carvings.
Once the tour concludes, you will be taken back to your hotel in Dubai.
