Overview

Departure from Cefalù to the highest active volcano in Europe - Etna. During the ascent, you will admire a different kind of beautiful landscapes. The bus will stop at 2000m. Visit the extinct Silvestri’s Craters, where there will be the possibility to go up to 3000m. by cable car and private jeep with an alpine guide. Free time in Mt Etna. Continuation to Taormina, well known as the “Pearl of Sicily”. Optional visit of the Greek-Roman Theatre. Free time in Taormina. Return to Cefalù via Messina.

Optional activities are payable directly to the tour guide; these include Mt Etna cable car ride to the lower summit (30 euros per adult, 15 euros per child), a cable car ride plus Jeep ride to the higher summit (63 euros per adult, 34.5 euros per child), and entrance fees to the Ancient Theatre of Taormina (8 euros per adult, 4 euros per child).
