Torun is the birthplace of the great Polish astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus, who made the crucial discovery that the Earth is not the centre of universe. Visit his home which is considered to be one of the most splendid examples of urban Gothic architecture.

Itinerary

  • You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel in Warsaw. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will travel in a private vehicle for a tour of Torun.

    • Arrive at Torun.
    • Walk along the Old Town area.
    • Visit the Copernicus House.
    • Climb the Town Hall Tower, from there an unforgettable view of the Old Town awaits you.
    • Indulge in some gingerbread tasting, a speciality that is baked according to recipes and methods dating back to the 16th century.

    At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel in Warsaw.
