Overview
There’s nothing like a sunset in a desert and when it is the wild expanse of the Red Centre, you know that it is going to be an absolutely divine affair. This tour lets you experience this incredible phenomenon with the sacred Kata Tjuta as the backdrop.
The 36 steep-sided domes of Kata Tjuta, the hidden gem of Central Australia, are thought to have originally been one huge piece of rock, much like Uluru, that has weathered over millions of years to become an intriguing series of individual formations. On our drive to these inspiring red-hued sedimentary rock domes, your driver guide will regale you with fascinating details of the area’s history, culture as well as the amazing biodiversity that calls the Red Centre its home.
On arriving at Kata Tjuta, we will take you to the perfect vantage point so you can witness the sunset in all its glory. As evening approaches, each passing minute brings something new as the domes continue to change colour with the setting. Escape from the madness of city life and surrender yourself to the divine ambiance, doused in bewitching shades of red and orange, while sipping on some sparkling wine and nibbling on gourmet canapés - an evening you won’t forget in years to come!

Voucher Information: Sorry, but you will need to print a paper version of your booking voucher (we promise we are working on changing this). Unfortunately, at this time, we will not be able to give anyone a refund without a printed copy of his/her voucher.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.
Don’t forget to report at the meeting point or pickup location at least 20 minutes before the start time to avoid any last minute rush.
It is recommended that you wear closed walking shoes and carry sunglasses, a hat, some sunscreen, a water bottle and some warmer layers of clothing for the cooler months.
