The city of Cordoba is famous for its popular historical sites such as the spectacular Mezquita and the Jewish Quarter.
One of the finest examples of Islamic architecture, the Mezquita is a beautiful mosque built by Abd ar-Rahman I. The Jewish Quarter is maze of narrow streets filled small plazas, white-washed houses with flowery window boxes and wrought-iron doorways opening up to plant-decked patios.
The well restored 14th century Synagogue in Cordoba was built in the Mudéjar style and completed in 1315. It contains ancient Hebrew inscriptions and intricate Mudejar patterns in stucco.

You will be picked up in a deluxe air conditioned coach from one of the designated spots (check options) in the Costa del Sol and taken on a guided tour of Cordoba via Antequera. After a brief stop, you will continue on with the trip. Upon Arrival visit the Mesquita, one of the largest mosques in the world. Its shimmering golden mosaics and an endless row of red-and-white striped arches make it a visual delight. Your next stop will be the Jewish Quarter, consists of a beautiful network of small streets and squares all arranged around the city. Continue to the Cordoba Synagogue, built in the Mudéjar style and completed in 1315. It contains ancient Hebrew inscriptions and intricate Mudejar patterns in stucco. . It is a beautiful 14th century structure and one of Spain’s few surviving medieval synagogues. Next stop will be Puente Romano, Situated to the south of Mezquita, this well restored Roman bridge crosses the Guadalquivir. Downstream towards the northern bank, you will come across a restored Islamic water wheel. At around 1:00pm take a break for lunch at a local restaurant (payable direct). You are at leisure to take a walk around the city centre At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your designated starting point in the Costa del Sol.
