Overview
Walk through the bird canyon, a large netted area where birds fly freely or board the safari truck to spot wild animals. On a clear day, it is possible to get a view of Gibraltar and the coast of Africa! Keep your camera ready to capture a herd of elephants, hippos emerging from the water, antelopes leaping around with gay abandon and other rare moments.
Itinerary
The park is based on the African safari park theme and is home to 2000 animals such as lions, tigers, rhinoceros, giraffes, hippos, jaguars, bears and many more species from around the world. Travel around the beautiful park in an all-terrain truck and by foot without disturbing the animals’ everyday life. The animals are in their natural habitat with borders around them and the public. Enjoy your safari ride and spot a variety of wildlife. The park also has a botanical garden.
You can upgrade your Selwo Safari Park ticket to add a Serengueti Safari. The safari takes you around the Reserve of the Lakes in an all-terrain vehicle. Get up and close with African wildlife like the hippos, giraffes, zebras, rhinoceros and antelopes. You will also get the chance to feed the animals.
You can stop for some refreshments at the on-site cafeteria (cost not included) or pick up interesting souvenirs from the gift shop.
The tour concludes at the Selwo Safari Park.
