The excursion ends at the California Academy of Sciences
Venture into the steamy world of the rainforest, the depths of the ocean and the immensity of outer space without leaving San Francisco.
The California Academy of Sciences is the only place in the world to combine a natural history museum, aquarium, planetarium and world-class research facility under one roof.
This cutting edge institution will inspire lifelong curiosity for the natural world as you experience a Philippine coral reef, climb into the canopy of a Costa Rican rainforest and fly to the outer reaches of the Universe.
Your ticket grants you skip-the-line access and is valid for all shows and exhibits within the Academy. It's a fascinating family day out.
In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, starting on Friday, August 27, the California Academy of Sciences requires the following:
Exchange your voucher for admission at the “Service Desk”, located at the right side of the main entrance of California Academy of Sciences, 55 Music Concourse Drive, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA, 94118.
Please exchange your voucher with tickets up to an hour before closing.
Each guest must have their own voucher (Adults, Children, Youth, and Seniors)
No refunds or exchanges for lost or stolen vouchers.
Please arrive at least 10-20 minutes prior to the scheduled time of your tour.
Your general admission ticket to the Academy includes Extreme Mammals, (please note some shows & exhibits including Extreme Mammals are capacity controlled and subject to availability on the day of visit)
Timed entry passes for Extreme Mammals will be distributed on an individual first come basis on the day of visit until all exhibit passes for the day have been distributed. These will be distributed on the second floor by the entrance to the exhibit.
All guests will need to reserve tickets for a specific entry timeslot and follow a few simple steps to protect yourself, our staff, and our San Francisco community.
Embrace our three favorite Ws: Wear a mask, Wash your hands, and Watch your distance.
The museum is operating at limited capacity to 20% and requires timed-entry tickets to help keep everyone safe and provide even more space to enjoy a physically distanced day at the museum.
