Extreme Mammals: Extreme Mammals showcases some of our most intriguing relatives, from the speedy to the sloth-like, the towering to the tiny, even the venomous and the armor-clad. Featuring spectacular fossils and reconstructions alongside recent specimens and live animals, this exhibit explores the surprising and often extraordinary world of extinct and living mammals. Extreme Mammals is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (www.amnh.org), in collaboration with the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco. Timed entry passes for Extreme Mammals will be distributed on an individual first come basis on the day of visit until all exhibit passes for the day have been distributed. These will be distributed on the second floor by the entrance to the exhibit.
