Help protect our fragile San Francisco Bay Area ecosystems by choosing an environmentally-friendly Redwoods Ecotour & Sausalito Excursion!
Cross the Golden Gate Bridge in a bio-fuelled minibus on your way to the last remaining patch of California Redwoods near San Francisco! Help support the research and maintenance conducted within this important Bay Area ecosystem. A portion of your ticket proceeds directly benefits Muir Woods National Monument.
Behold old-growth redwood trees approaching 1,000 years old and 300 feet tall! Tread lightly along the quaint, little trails and try to snap a photo of one of the local deer, foxes, turkeys, bobcats, and banana slugs! But, you’ve got to be quick because these well-camouflaged, local inhabitants don’t typically pose for pictures. You’ll have between 60 to 90 minutes to experience this primeval forest before heading towards the gorgeous, bayside community of Sausalito!
Settled alongside the San Francisco Bay, Sausalito attracts travellers from around the globe due to its relaxed vibe, uniquely sustainable shopping experiences, and environmentally-friendly restaurant options. Meander along the edge of the San Francisco Bay, pick up a souvenir from one the mom-and-pop shops, or have a seat at one of the best restaurants in the area! If you decide you’d like to stay in Sausalito a bit longer, then you may upgrade your package with a spectacular ride on the ferry back to San Francisco! The beauty of Sausalito is hypnotizing; so, make sure you look at your watch and catch the final ferry ride! Then again, getting stuck in Sausalito isn’t one of the worst things to do in San Francisco!
