Overview

Enjoy a picturesque journey into the heart of the Bavarian Alps, see the famous Königssee (“King’s Lake”), and visit the charming mountain town Berchtesgaden.

Depart from the Panorama Tours Bus Terminal at Mirabell Square and enjoy a scenic drive to Königssee. Passing by the Baroque historic city center of Salzburg along the river Salzach, head towards the border to Germany and into the Bavarian Alps. Pass the Marktschellenberg, the Obersalzberg and soak in the stunning scenery of the Bavarian mountains before reaching the Königssee.

Nestled among steep mountains, explore the shore of the Königssee and or stroll through the picturesque lakeside village with the same name. You will have around 50 minutes to spend here.

Visit the mountain town of Berchtesgaden, in front of the spectacular alpine panorama, enjoy coffee and cake (not included in the price), and see the Bavarian lifestyle firsthand.
