Drive across the harshly beautiful terrain of Iceland to the Blue Lagoon, where you’ll spend a day awash in serenity.
The Blue Lagoon is a unique spa located in a lava field in west Iceland. A combination of silica, geothermally-heated sea water and algae gives the lagoon a lovely milky-blue color. The warm water comes from the nearby geothermal power plant of Svartsengi and averages a pleasant 40°C (104°F). It is rich in minerals and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is said to alleviate skin conditions such as psoriasis.
The spa's state-of-the-art facilities include modern changing rooms and showers, and an indoor pool. A geothermal beach, lava caves and silica mud are also a part of the lagoon area.
You have three Blue Lagoon options to choose from - Direct transfer from Airport, or combine your transfer with the Standard Admission Bathing Package or Comfort Admission Bathing Package.
With the direct transfer service, you will be picked up from your airport and taken to the Blue Lagoon in an air-conditioned coach.
Along with transfers, you can opt for the Standard Admission Bathing Package, which includes the visitor pass as well as the entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon spa. You can bathe in the lagoon, enjoy sauna and use the changing facilities.
You also have the option to choose the Comfort Admission Bathing Package which includes all the elements of the standard package and additional benefits, which are as follows:
•Get a large and comfortable towel. You must return the towel after bathing.
•Enjoy a drink of your choice at the Blue Café or the Lagoon Bar.
•Get a skincare trial pack that consists of a 30ml tube and one complimentary sample of Blue Lagoon signature products. The pack also has a sample of the Blue Lagoon algae mask.
