Revel in the beauty of the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls as you walk behind the cascading water and enjoy brilliant panoramic views of this breathtaking scenery. Hike on the 700-year-old Sólheimajökull glacier with a certified glacier guide in tow. Visit the Reynisfjara black sand beach and see the beautiful basalt rock formations and the rolling waves of the sea. During the drive, you would also see spectacular views of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier and Hekla Volcano.
A great-value sightseeing tour, travel from Reykjavik in luxury bus and enjoy the magnificent sights and sounds of the country.
You will be picked up from your accommodation and taken to the first stop, the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most popular attractions.
At Seljalandsfoss, go behind the waterfall and witness the magnificent speed and power of the gushing water as it cascades down the hills. Be sure to take some photos with this picture-perfect waterfall in the background. If you are lucky, you might even spot rainbows on a sunny day!
Next, embark on an exhilarating hike across a glacier. Your expert guide will be present throughout the hike, and reveal local tales about the ancient ice crack. Continue your tour to the wonderful black beach of Reynisfjara, known for its famous basalt columns and caverns. The landscape surrounding the sea is extraordinary, with volcanic ash forming a stack of rock columns. According to the Icelandic legend, the basalt formations in the sea are believed to be mischievous trolls that were turned to stone by the rising sun.
You will end this tour with a stop at the splendid Skógafoss waterfall. Feel the water spray your face as you will walk up to the 60-metre high waterfall. You may also climb the 527 steps up the hill to enjoy brilliant, panoramic views of the cascading water and rainbows.
On your way to Reykjavik, you will drive past the splendid South Iceland countryside, full of fertile farming lands and small villages. Pass by the infamous Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla volcanoes that erupted in 2010.
At Reykjavik, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
