The tour takes in four to five outstanding vineyards from the Gibbston, Bannockburn and Alexandra areas, includes wine tastings, a tour of New Zealand's largest wine cave and a tasting of excellent local cheeses.
For lunch, relax in one of the regions excellent restaurants - The Big Picture, Oliver's of Clyde or Orchard Garden.
The Big Picture is a new and unique wine and food experience including, fine cuisine, an Aroma Room and a virtual flight over Central Otago with a virtual meeting of the regions leading winemakers
You will be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to The Station Building bus stop, Camp Street, Queenstown, the departure point of your tour. Start your relaxed day of fine wine and excellent cuisine. Visit five tasting venues in the Gibbston Valley and Bannockburn, take a tour through New Zealands largest underground wine cave, and explore your senses at The Big Picture, the worlds first visual and sensory wine experience.
Enjoy a delightful gourmet platter lunch and mid morning cheese tasting during the tour. Admire the beautiful scenery including the Kawarau Gorge, Otago Goldfields, Historic Old Cromwell Town and Lake Dunstan.
At the end of this memorable wine tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Queenstown.
