Getting there

You’ll find no shortage of ways to get to the Eiffel Tower restaurant.  Paris has one of the best public transits systems in the world.  So, if you plan on taking the metro, you should know that the most direct way to get to the Eiffel Tower is by taking to Line 6 to the Bir-Hakeim Metro stop and walking along the river for just over 10 minutes.  Another slightly longer option is taking Line 8 to the Ecole Militaire Metro stop, which will require about a 15 minute walk to the tower after you alight.  However, the RER train will take you even closer to the Eiffel Tower and requires less than a 10-minute walk.  Just take the RER-C Line to Champ de Mars – Tour Eiffel and walk along the Seine.  Those taking the bus will want to hop on Bus No. 30, 42, 69, 72, 82, or 86 and hop off at either Champ de Mars or Tour Eiffel.  Finally, the taxi cabs present an interesting option.  It allows you to enjoy the sights of Paris without having to navigate through the city yourself.  However, it’s also the most expensive transportation option, aside from hiring a private car or limousine.  Finding the right transportation for your budget is one of the most important things to do in Paris; so, choose wisely.
