If you wish you can opt to spend a little less time at the Kennedy Space Center and take a 40-minute air boat ride to discover the beauty of the Florida Everglades. See exotic plants, flowers and wildlife including the main inhabitant of the swamp - the alligator!

Itinerary

  • You will be picked up from your designated meeting points or hotel via air-conditioned coach and accompanied by a professional guide/driver taken to the Kennedy Space Center. After your pickup, you will be taken to the Kennedy Space Center for the beginning of your day. On arrival at the Kennedy Space Center: A narrated NASA bus tour will take you to the launch control room. You’ll get a good look at the massive Saturn V rocket – the largest rocket ever to fly. Ride the Shuttle Launch Experience – the new simulator that lets you experience a shuttle launch first hand. View a larger-than-life IMAX movie that brings home the majesty of space exploration. You will also visit the New Millennium exhibition and get the chance to meet an astronaut. This tour also includes the option of an airboat safari across the Central Florida Everglades. Enjoy an exhilarating ride through this eco park and see several wildlife species. For those taking the Kennedy Space Center only tour you will spend around 6 hours at the Kennedy Space Center. If you take the tour with the airboat safari you will spend around 4 hours 30 minutes at the Kennedy Space Center. At the end of your day, you will return to the starting point via air-conditioned coach.

Headset translators can be ordered in advance or upon arrival (additional charges apply) in order to translate the facility tour, these are recommended for non-English speaking guests.

If the guest wants the hotel pick up, they need to pay $10 per person to a maximum of $25 per family per tour to their driver on the day of their tour. They may pay cash or credit.

For pick-ups in Downtown Orlando additional surcharges may apply.

There are no pickups in Altamonte Springs, Maitland, Winter Park or the UCF Area.

The bus tour to the Apollo Saturn V Center needs to be reserved upon arrival at the visitor center, on a space availability basis.
