Overview
Sign up for a unique adventure at Wild Florida, a pristine 13-acre wildlife park. Get a taste of the life of a zoo keeper and enjoy a hands-on experience of feeding and looking after animals in the wildlife park.
Brace yourself for a daring exercise in preparing food and feeding the alligators. Hold a live gator in your hands and get a souvenir picture of this thrilling experience! Enjoy an exhilarating airboat ride through the grassy waters, take in the marshes and swamps and experience raw nature at its most majestic! Top it up with a sumptuous barbeque meal and on the whole, enjoy a different side to Florida on this epic tour!
Itinerary
Reach Wild Florida at the scheduled time. The day begins with learning the basics of being a keeper. Help prepare and even feed the animals in the park. Enjoy your interaction with zebras, water buffaloes, deer, emus and zebus as well as Florida’s native land animals as you learn more about the habits and behaviour of the animals. You will be working with the animal keeper from 9am to 11am.
The highlight of your guided visit is a private alligator handling demonstration where you get hands on experience in how to deal with the fierce creatures. Feed the alligators from a special gator platform and hold a live alligator in your hands. You will even receive a souvenir photo to remind you of the day.
Another major highlight is a thrilling airboat ride at 11:30am, as you glide over one of America’s untamed and wild places: the Everglades. Take in the swamps and the beauty of raw nature as you enjoy an hour long ride through the alligator-filled waters. This experience will be followed by a sumptuous barbeque lunch at 12:45pm after which you can depart from the wildlife park.
